Recently, Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology in Taiwan carried out the agenda of renewing the agreement through online. Ma Xin, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Chen Qingdiao, Dean of the School of Nursing of Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, signed the renewal on behalf of both parties. This renewal will continue to uphold the spirit of equality, reciprocity and mutual understanding, and promote the interaction of teachers and students between the two schools and colleges through the establishment and maintenance of a friendly partnership to achieve cultural and professional exchanges.
The agreement stipulates that the two sides may send up to two undergraduate exchange students to the other school each year for up to one academic year, and that the students should be enrolled in their home schools and bear the training fees of their home schools, and do not need to pay the training fees of their host schools. At the same time, 10 undergraduate students from both sides will be sent to the other school every year to participate in course study, summer or winter short-term camps (10 to 15 days).
Our university and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology in Taiwan Province have been carrying out international exchange activities for six years. Both sides have sent each other's teachers and students for short-term summer exchanges for many times, and have highly recognised each other's support and efforts in the exchanges.
